TO ensemble is Singapore's groundbreaking contemporary music group, which performs original music that is a fusion of film score, jazz, Chinese, Indian, European classical music and anime/video game soundtracks.

The group explores dynamic relationships between movement, sound and the visual, often working with film, contemporary dance and multi-disciplinary projects.

Described by The Business Times as “sophisticated and accessible“, the ensemble's debut album Stories from wonderland was selected as one of the top albums of the year for having “helped shape music in 2011”.

Created by award-winning composer-pianist Tze Toh (UK songwriting contest 2011, instrumental category) in *2007, whom The The Straits Times described as “an extraordinary musician whose idiom straddles comfortably between genres of classical, jazz, world and film music” and “possesses an original voice”, the ensemble has performed for the Journey of Youth Olympic Flame 2010, official opening of Singapore's iconic Gardens by the Bay and records for film, and collaborates on contemporary dance, visual projects creating original multi-disciplinary works.

+TO ensemble is funded by the National Arts Council of Singapore.
